SubEthaEdit

SubEthaEdit is a text editing tool that allows students to collaboratively work on the same document via the local network through Bonjour.

• Mac OSX is required to run SubEthaEdit
• Originally created to edit programming code, SubEthaEdit can easily be used for classroom collaboration
• Best for in-class work
• Can be used as a whole class collaboration or smaller groups can create their own document
• Each student's involvement can be tracked within the document
• Background colors can be changed to promote various types of projects (and accountability)
